EAT, EXPLORE AND EXPERIENCE

Only the best make the list.

MIRROR LAKE

Mirror Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes and settings you will come across and a relaxed walk or drive around its 2.7 mile loop will give you a feel for its popularity. Highlights are the beach at the south end , the crystal clear water, the beautiful homes and lodgings surrounding it. The lake activity is very relaxing and since no gas engines are allowed, the reflections off the lake can be amazing at times.

HIKE MOUNT JO

A great mountain for families and beginners, Mt. Jo’s open summit ledges provide one of the best views of the High Peaks for relatively little effort. There are two trails to the top so it’s easy to make a loop hike out of this adventure, although inexperienced hikers might find the Short Trail too steep for their liking.

Seasonal sports

Lake Placid's got you covered regardless of the season. World famous golf links await you in the summer and specialty ski parks will be ready for you in the winter.
